We at Nate Holmes, wanted to provide you the benefits of the ingredients of each of the essential oil within Nate  Holmes products, that differentiate one balm from another. 

Core Ingredients - These items are present in every balm 

  • Shea Butter 
  • Coconut Oil 
  • Jojoba Oil 
  • Tea Tree Oil 

The essential oils below were selected based not only on scent, but on the beneficial properties they held towards the  skin and hair of the user. Every ingredient involved in the creation of Nate Holmes - Beard and Hair Balms were selected with the customer in mind. 

The Executive 

  • Grapefruit: Grapefruit oil improves blood circulation, strengthens hair roots, fights dandruff and provides a  healthy shine. Grapefruit can reverse damaged skin cells and provide UV protection, as well as being is in  potassium, fiber, and antioxidants which together help treat pigmentation issues, wrinkles, and age spots 

 

  • Clove: Applying clove oil on your scalp boosts blood circulation which reduces hair fall and also promotes  hair growth from the root follicles. It also servers as a great natural conditioner. 

The Old Soul 

  • Sandalwood: Sandalwood has been known for its skin-friendly cleansing properties and as a skin soother. If  you have razor bumps, scars, blemishes, spots or eczema on your skin, this oil can help one get rid of those  quickly and prevents recurrence. It is also an effective astringent that tones skin and rejuvenates. This  antiseptic property in this oil is excellent for stimulating blood circulation in the scalp to encourage optimal  hair growth. It has been used to increase shine and prevent hair dryness. The astringent in sandalwood oil is  quite useful in getting rid of excess sebum secretions for those with an oily scalp. 

 

  • Lemongrass: Lemongrass oil is antibacterial and creates an environment on the scalp, optimal for healthy  hair growth. The skin properties of this oil include antimicrobial abilities to remove the bacteria trapped in  the pores. Its anti-inflammatory properties treat the skin inflammation caused by acne.
